On a beautiful late spring morning, I met with Ursula Arens in Vauxhall, for her ‘face-to-face’ column in Network Health Dietitians. It was particularly enjoyable as we shared many things in common having spent considerable time in Hong Kong, both studied at Queen Margaret University (College) Edinburgh (her – dietetics; me – public health nutrition) and worked at the British Nutrition Foundation. We talked about working cross-culturally and the importance of food education in nutrition practice.
